NBA Comparison: N/A
Strengths: Playing PG and SG right now, and capable of contributing with similar success from both positions ... Quite smart with a good court view, decent ball handling, quickness and good passing skills, Nando's showing real team leadership and management of the game tempo too ... Controls the ball well with both hands dribbling as well as finishing at the rim after his effective and lethal penetrations ... Very confident with his game in general, he's also a reliable shooter from all positions, able to create his own shot off of the dribble too ... Forces a considerable amount of fouls ... He also collects his share of rebounds, getting a hand on loose balls and does a good job of anticipating screens on offense and defense, making him a complete and valuable ballplayer ... Defensively he adds intensity to a good positional game and footspeed to guard in 1 on 1 situations.

Weaknesses: Athletically he's okay, but imagining him in the NBA, he'd surely be among the less athletic guards ... He does need to continue strengthening his body in general, which would especially benefit him driving to the basket ... Sometimes tends to force some shots that aren't there, as well as handling the ball too long. Normally using more a set shot, but he's also able to take a jump shot with a defender in his face. Although it is a point he has to continue developing and become more comfortable with it.

Outlook: Fresh winner of the MVP awards at both the All Star Game and Semaine des As (French Cup), leading his team Cholet to victory in the second, Nando De Colo definitely's making a name for himself this season ... Probably won't manage to get drafted due to the strong competition from more athletic American guards. But definitely a guy to keep under the radar. And some team could give him a chance as a free agent at a later stage, which he could surely be worthy if he keeps on improving his game.
