NBA Comparison: N/A
Strengths: Possesses top notch quickness that few point guards have on any level ... Stokes effortlessly gets separation thanks to his quick first step ... If that fails, he has an assortment of change of speed dribbles and crossovers ... Excels in the open court where his speed enables him to push the ball ... Stokes plays with composure and under control ... Does a great job of rebounding the ball from the PG position ... Possess three point range on his jumper ... Tough minded player who doesn't mind physical contact ... Creative slasher who finishes with a good assortment of shots ... Either switching hands, finger rolls or hanging and using the glass over bigger defenders ... Patient player who waits for the game to come to him and rarely forces shots ... Possesses decent point guard qualities ... Has no problem setting up the offense and controlling the tempo of the game ... Despite his great scoring ability, Stokes is an unselfish player who is team oriented ... Moves well without the ball in his hands...

Weaknesses: One of the biggest drawbacks to Stokes is that he has yet to master the point guard position ... For most of his career he has played with a scorer's mentality and has not fully developed his point guard skills ... Will be viewed by many as a tweener or combo guard ... Too short for the shooting guard while lacking the experience at the point guard position ... Perimeter shooting can be inconsistent at times ... Must continue to develop his upper body strength his frame is wiry ... Despite his quality shooting ability, Stokes remains a below average free throw shooter ... Has battled the injury bug for parts of his career which could be rectified by improving his body ... At times he can get a little careless with the ball, resulting in turnovers ... Falls in love with the perimeter jumper instead of driving to the basket ... Could stand to improve in defending opposing guards on the perimeter ...
