NBA Comparison: Scot Pollard/Elden Campbell

Drew Wolin - 12/17/2006

Strengths: Excellent athleticism, especially for his height Very bouncy, ally oop wizard Lengthy - good shot blocker with timing Gets very good elevation on his jump shot Solid rebounder Possesses solid vision, but looks to score most of the time Has good quickness, plays well in an open court game Capable of coming off screens and shooting with a quick release, but is better on the pick and pop (Gonzaga has him do both) Very good touch, can finish around the hoop Solid rebounder If he improves his handle and post game, he can become a multidimensional offensive threat in the NBA Has shown added wrinkles to his game, becoming a lot more aggressive in the paint in his sophomore season

Weaknesses: Must bulk up without losing any of his speed and mobility, which could be a balancing act Has not shown that he is adept at handling the ball C something that would serve him especially well in the NBA with his face up game Not always aggressive enough offensively C often does not post up strong enough to receive the ball Appears to prefer to face the basket, should work harder on his post game and develop a go to move Has NBA 3 point range, but with his size is more effective inside Needs improved body strength, easily pushed out of the post Does not possess great hands, at times fumbling passes Disappears at times during games, must improve his consistency Seems to get especially lackluster when tired, better conditioning would serve him well

Notes: Redshirted 2004-05 season broke his ankle very early in the 2005-06 season, causing him to miss 18 games.
