Strengths: Adrien is the definition of a lunch pail player. He fights for every rebound, every loose ball, and puts his heart into everything he does on the court ... Despite standing just 6'7'', Adrien has a near 7'0'' wingspan that enables him to dominate on the boards and block shots ... He was expected to serve as UConn's go-to option, but he does not yet possess the offensive skill set to excel in that role ... Will get the bulk of his points off of put-backs and hustle plays ... Athletically, Adrien is very underrated. He is one of the strongest forwards in the Big East and jumps very well ... Gained 20 pounds of muscle to bulk up to 245 before the beginning of his sophomore season ... Added a nice 15-foot jumpshot to his game as a sophomore. Adrien's midrange jumper isn't overly consistent, but he can knock it down enough so opponents have to respect it ... Has all the makings of a four-year player under Calhoun, and if he continues to develop his offensive skills, Adrien could turn himself into a first-round pick two years from now.

Weaknesses: Is still a work in progress offensively...His midrange jumpshot is coming along nicely, but Adrien still needs to fine-tune his back to the basket game. He is often unaware of double-teams and commits turnovers when he puts the ball on the floor as the double team comes, as evident by his 29/76 assist to turnover ration last season...Makes bad decisions with the ball and at times starts taking the ball upcourt himself after a rebound. Needs to start finding the outlet man quicker and limit his dribbling in fullcourt situations ... Struggled at the free throw line, shooting just 58.6%, a 5.5% dip from his freshman year ... There are a lot of players with Adrien's size and athleticism. In order to take the next step, he needs to continue to polish his skills on the offensive end.
