Romeo Langford, New Albany
Freshman, 6-3
Langford, a heralded freshman who is already drawing interest from Division I college coaches, averaged 17.6 points and 5.8 rebounds while powering the Bulldogs to a 23-3 record, the Hoosier Hills Conference crown and a Class 4-A sectional title.
Langford’s breakout game was a 33-point night at Evansville Harrison. He led the Bulldogs in five statistical categories and was limited to single digits in points only once.
“He’s a once-in-a-lifetime player,” New Albany coach Jim Shannon said.
