2014-15 ALL-USA California Boys Basketball Team

USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the American Family Insurance ALL-USA California Boys Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2014-15 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Lou Richie, Bishop O’Dowd (Oakland)
Richie led the Dragons to the Open Division state championship. It was Bishop O’Dowd’s first state title since 1981, and it came against four-time defending champion Mater Dei (Santa Ana).

FIRST TEAM 

Player of the Year
Ivan Rabb, F, Bishop O’Dowd (Oakland), 6-11/210, Sr.
Rabb is one of the most sought-after players in the nation but had not yet announced his college decision at the end of the season. He showed why he is in such demand in California’s Open Division championship game, scoring 19 points and pulling down 21 rebounds as Bishop O’Dowd defeated Mater Dei in overtime, 65-64. The game winner? Rabb’s free throw with time winding down.
