Jack Doss, J.O. Johnson (Huntsville)
Doss became the first coach in Alabama High School Athletic Association history to win eight state championships and just the second to win at three different schools with the Jaguars’ 5A crown this season. Doss also won at Hayes (Birmingham) in 1981 and 1982 and at Butler (Huntsville) in 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2011.
