  1. DON’T SLEEP ON THIS YEAR DRAFTEES
THIS DRAFT IS FULL OF GUYS LIKE JOSH HOWARD,GILBERT AREAS,DANNY GRANGER AND CARLOS BOOZER..NOBODY EXPECTED THOSE GUYS TO BECOME ALL-STARS..

    • Come on, seriously?
Rudeboy, I’m sorry but you expect way too much from way too little. A. Arenas was expected to become an All Star, it was just that his draft status plummeted due to phony injury rumors. B. Every time there’s a clear off year it’s bogus to say hey maybe there’s just a whole flock of Carlos Boozer’s in here. In this case it is patently untrue. You fail to name anyone who is like any of the guys you named or why they are being universally panned if they are all so secretly good. We can base reasonable predictions based upon prior performance.

You have no basis to say that there are so many in here who are talented despite how they played. It could be true, but what are you basing such a claim on? Why would you assume that players who were either largely mediocre in college or Europe (Brandon Jennings-worst inevitable lottery pick this year BY FAR) or players who were good but failed to show NBA good qualities will just snap out of it and become something completely different in the NBA? It would be like taking a bunch of kids from some poor, collapsing public school who were in remedial courses and throwing them into Harvard and just assuming they’ll end up at the top of their class. Why would that be the case?

Actually this draft is full of guys like Stromile Swift, DerMarr Johnson, Darius Miles, Chris Mihm, Marcus Fizer and Jerome Moiso. (i.e. the 2000 Draft)

  2. the competitive list is a
the competitive list is a mockery, tyler hansbrough is clearly the most competitive guy, and ricky rubio should be 4th or 5th while jennings shouldn’t be in that list, the guy couldn’t even compete against the pg’s in lottomatica roma for a spot and was cut for the italian playoffs for it.

    • wow Brandon jennings
is the biggest competitor in this draft by far…………do ur research then comment it makes u sound like u are actually smart..please rubio should be 4th or 5th come on u must be some lil kid that watches u tube and is amazed by tat stuff……b jennings is th most competitive and most passionate player in the whole draft

  3. Demar DeRozan
Could be the biggest wing bust since Martell Webster. Terrence Williams will act like a veteran in the playoffs next year. Thabeet will be a cross between Sene and Mutumbo, somewhere in the middle. And if iam picking 9 to 14 i am trading down.

  4. Holiday
i think everyone should let the holiday thing play it out by itself. Everyone has their opinion whether he is under rated and a sleeper or over rated and will be a bust. Because his talent that everyone saw coming out of high school was hidden in UCLA’s system. But it could also be he didnt have the talent to thrive at that level. I say give him some time in the NBA and let his game speak. Then we will be able to tell if he was under rated coming into the draft like Tony Parker was or if he was over rated like Sebastian Telfair was

  5. steph
I really hope steph curry drops to the knicks at 8. Lights out shooter, would be perfect in D’antoni’s offense, and can flat out score score score. Just what they need. Fingers crossed….

  6. Borko you are my hero. John
Borko you are my hero. John Bryant would be so proud to find out he’s on top of something. Even if it’s the most unathletic player in this draft. We got to mail this guy a trophy.

  7. One thing these fans who
One thing these fans who never played basketball fail to realize is that Europe is a big adjustment for anyone to go play. Esppecially if you’re used to the way the game is played in the USA. Even good NBA players go over there and struggle. Talent wise Jennings is more than ready as anyone that has seen him in workouts can plainly see. Also even though his state weren’t great they weren’t that far off than rubios. I’d take him over holiday any day of the week every one is hoping he can play pg even though he’s played sg in hs and college

  8. 2008
Just taking a look back at your 2008 rankings…Brook Lopez was only 3rd in your low post scoring rankings, and Joey Dorsey was ranked 1st in rebounding. Brandon Rush wasn’t even placed in any category. And none of the sleepers played in the NBA last season. Just indicating some potential foreshadowing in areas this predictions can be wrong.
